Sauk Prairie resident Gene Weittenhiller is greeted with Christmas carols as community gathers outside his house

Sauk City and Prairie du Sac became came together as Sauk Prairie last Wednesday night, as residents gathered at Gene Weittenhiller’s house to sing him Christmas carols. Diagnosed with cancer, Weittenhiller has a few months to live. A large crowd gathered at a nearby park and walked to his house.
