Sauk Prairie girls split a pair

It was the best of times and the worst of times for Sauk Prairie’s girls basketball team last week.

 Junior guard Naomi Breunig scored a career-best 28 points, and the host Sauk Prairie Eagles used a smothering defense to pound Portage 59-21 in a Badger North Conference game on Feb. 4.
