Paige Hooper named Sauk Prairie Optimist January Student of the Month


Paige Hooper, the daughter of Shelly and Chuck Hooper, has been selected by SPHS as the Optimist January Student of the Month. According to Chad Harnisch, SPHS Principal, “Paige is an exemplary student, who stands out from others in academic pursuits, school related activities, organizations and community service. She exhibits traits of servant leadership. Paige is a committed leader in our school community, and currently serves as chair of our National Honor Society “Day of Giving” committee. Students like Paige are an asset to Sauk Prairie High School and our community.” Paige has been a member of the National Honor Society and for the past two years has served as Community Service Director for the Day of Caring at SPHS. She has been a class officer for three years and is currently Secretary and highly involved in setting up prom. Paige is a four-year volleyball team member NDS Hs been voted Most Improved three years in a row. She is also involved in FFA. A strong student, she has taken two Advance Placement classes both her junior and senior years. Outside of school, she helps run her family-owned campground by helping enforce rules and caring for rescue animals. Paige is applying to both the West Point Air Force Academy as well as UW-Milwaukee and would like to have a career in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) field.
