Wisconsin Heights student missing since Thursday is found

Missing juvenile Tiah Meigs has been located safe and has been reunited with her family. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank our community members, including business organizations and advocacy groups, working in cooperation with area law enforcement, to bring Tiah home. Earlier today, Tiah approached two officers from the Madison Police Department, identified herself and asked to be reunited with her family.

A 15-year-old Wisconsin Heights student has gone missing, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Department.

Tiah J. Meigs was last seen leaving Wisconsin Heights at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, March 11. Meigs got into a vehicle of someone she knew. She is 5’6” tall and approximately 200 lbs.

Detectives have information that Meigs was near the Camden Road area of Madison later in the day of the 11th. Meigs has ties to this area, and possibly to the Sun Prairie area.

Meigs' family is concerned for her welfare and attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful.
