Elections yield upsets, new faces, and a “no” on Heights referendum

The spring election ushered in new faces, from both competing candidates and those unopposed.

The highest profile race ended with Mitch Hodson besting Mary Scott for Black Earth President by a wide margin of 64 to 35 percent. The remaining trustees of Tyler Munson, Jared Brammerson, and Scott Patchin ran unopposed.
