Participate in a conversation about racism


Left to right, Some of the Sauk Prairie Social Justice and Equity Initiative members on October 7 are Vicki Gullickson (SP Optimist member and retired teacher), Veronica Gallas (SPSD staff), Lauren White (Ruth Culver Community Library Director), Teresa Bare-Inman and Tanya Bare (Both Optimist members and business partners). They are just a few people on the SPSJEI committee working on the Sauk Prairie Community Read.

A Sauk Prairie Community Read is planned for the book, “Stamped: Racism, Antiracism and You” by Jason Reynolds and Ibram X. Kendi, which will be followed by community conversations.
