44th annual Grand Avenue Prediction Run goes off without a hitch

The Grand Avenue Prediction Run started forty-four years ago with Dr. John McAuliffe’s help. A plan was developed for a physical fitness and wellness activity. Training was done during each student’s recess using the run/walk course. The Prediction Run is not a race. Each runner predicts how long it will take him/her to complete the course. Shirts were awarded for the two boys and two girls in each classroom who came closest to their predicted time. It was amazing to see how the students cheered one another on during the entire run! Pictured are this year’s Prediction Run award winners.
