Phyllis was a woman gifted with humor and spunk who enjoyed practical jokes. She was born at home in Loganville, WI on December 3, 1924 to Herman and Alice (Kruse) Winecke. She married the love of her life, Chalmers “Chuck” Perry (Harrisonville, KY), on July 20, 1945 at the Naval Air Station in Alameda, CA.
