Steve Schmitt honored by Verona American Legion

In June, the American Legion Post 385 in Verona held an event to honor Vietnam Veterans residing in Verona and Fitchburg. Steve Schmitt donated 600 Vietnam Veteran ball caps for the event. That purchase entitled Steve and his newer venture, Steve Schmitt’s Sports Treasures Plus, to be a Gold Donor for the event and presentation of a keepsake for his sponsorship. The Cooperstown Bat presented to Schmitt s engraved with the American Legion logo and reads “Thanks for going to bat for our Vietnam Vets” – June 25, 2023.
