Andrew King and Daniel Klein achieve Eagle Scout status in ceremony

Scott Master Andy Jones of Prairie du Sac, Scouts of America Troop 173, on June 9, at Marion Park, in Prairie du Sac presented an Eagle Scout Award to scouts Andrew King and Daniel Klein. Andy Jones, on the left, made the formal presentation to Andrew King with his parents Ryan and Kristin King present, centered in the photograph.
Daniel Klein received his award with his mother Tracy and father Bill Klein present, on right of the picture. The two Eagle Scouts earned 33 and 40 merit badges respectively. Each scout had to complete an approved community service project plus a minimum of 21 merit badge awards to be considered eligible for Eagle Scout status. This was the fourteenth and fifteenth Eagle Scout awards of Troop 173 members under 15 years of Scout Master Andy Jones. Sauk Prairie Veterans of Foreign Wars Lachmund-Cramer Post 7694 has been the charter sponsor of Troop 173 continuously since 1974.
