Colin Graber honored as October Sauk Prairie Optimist High School Student of the Month

Colin Graber, son of Heather and Tom Graber, is the October Sauk Prairie Optimist High School Student of the Month. Sauk Prairie High School Assistant Principal Shane Been shared, “Colin is an Autistic special education student. Being in person at the high school had been a challenge for Colin and he needed to switch to homebound instruction for a time. For many students who leave school, returning to in person instruction is very difficult. Colin decided he wanted to return to school his senior year and pursue higher education. He is doing excellent academically and has had impressive growth in his social skills. On top of this, Colin endeavors to attend college and is working on that process now. He is setting high goals and making an outstanding effort. Next year, Colin plans to attend Edgewood College as a Political Science major with a Communications minor. We are all impressed by his hard work and enjoy having him in the classroom and halls. Colin is an outstanding choice for the October Student of the Month.
