Saint Vincent de Paul General Manager Karen Fabisiak retires after 26 years of service

After 26 years of dedicated service to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Sauk-Prairie Roxbury, Karen Fabisiak has announced her retirement as General Manager. Karen managed the first St. Vincent store in a storefront in Sauk City which she helped open in 1994. Two years later the new building on 19th Street in Prairie du Sac was built.

That’s Beth Hayes’ conclusion to her 14 1/2 years as the Youth Services Librarian at the Ruth Culver Community Library in Prairie du Sac, having retired in June.

Heights grad rides for charity

Dave Royston set off from the Wisconsin Heights parking lot Sunday on a 55 mile ride for the MACC Fund. He first got involved with the MACC Fund in 2012 when the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association moved the high school All-Star games from the UW-Fieldhouse to Justagame.
