Village of Arena police officers drop down to part-time

Water rate increase in store for Prairie du Sac due to new well

The village board of Prairie du Sac faced water rate increases for their residents no matter what they decided to do with well #5. In the end the board chose the lower priced option for their new municipal well, coming in at $2.7 million for a 500-foot deep well with polyphosphate treatment to reduce the iron content.
