Flood damaged home headed to demolition

At a quick August 10 meeting, the Mazomanie village board crossed a few items off their to do list.

First, the board approved retaining Douglas Wood to negotiate with the Railroad about fencing and liability in and near the Promenade.

Second, Olson Toon was approved to demolish the flood damaged property at 114 Curtis.

Arena debates “natural lawns,” Pustina votes against bonuses to village employees

Village of Prairie du Sac electric utility earns award

The Village of Prairie du Sac’s electric utility has earned a Safety Achievement Award from the Municipal Electric Utilities of Wisconsin (MEUW).  On April 29, 2021, MEUW held its Electric Operations Expo in Baraboo, Wis., and presented the award to the utility.

Mazo sees progress with bandstand

The Village of Mazomanie has hired a new clerk to replace current Clerk Sue Dietzen, who is retiring soon. Angela Volkman has been hired. The Village has also begun looking for a replacement for officer Kyle Keller, who was promoted to Sargent.
