Florence Sprecher, age 99, passed away peacefully at Maplewood of Sauk Prairie on August 20, 2022. She was born on December 9, 1922, to Andrew and Clara Sprecher. She grew up on the family farm in the township of Honey Creek. She graduated from Prairie High in 1940 and went on to study education at Reedsburg Normal.

Marcella “Marcy” Liegel, age 89, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Sunday, August 28, 2022. She was born on August 17, 1933, the second of five daughters born to the late Wilma (Karasek) and Michael Martin.

Ridgeway - Paul Bickford, age 69, of Ridgeway, WI, a beloved friend and mentor to many, died in a farm accident on Tuesday, August 23, 2022.

Sandra “Sandy” A. Eveland-Winch, age 71, passed away peacefully at Heartland Country Village in Black Earth on Monday, Aug. 29, 2022.  She was born in Madison on Jan. 25, 1951 to the late John “Jack” R.

ALBANY / BLACK EARTH / STOUGHTON - On Monday, Aug. 29, 2022, God welcomed Torie Lynn (Kahl) Clason home, and we look forward to the day when we will be reunited with her. Torie was born on June 14, 1976, to Tom and Debby (Slater) Kahl. Torie was very active in her younger years in 4-H and Horse Showing.

Wilma P. Wilkinson (Kading), 92, died Thursday, August 25, 2022 under the care of Interim Hospice at Rennes Health and Rehabilitation Center, Weston.

She was born April 18, 1930 in Middleton, WI and was the daughter of the late Elmer and Edna (Brockmann) Kading.

CROSS PLAINS - Judith Kay “Judy” Bergum, age 83, of Cross Plains, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022, at SSM Health-St. Mary’s Hospital. She was born on Sept. 14, 1938, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of George Henderson and Alma (Hawke) Henderson.

Sauk City/Shawano - Robyn Heather Dodd Wilson, age 53, gained her angel wings on August 10, 2022. Robyn was born on October 2, 1968 to Ronald Dodd and Kay Roessler. All of her life, Robyn enjoyed spending time with her family, enjoying the outdoors while camping and fishing, and expressing herself through her art.

BLACK EARTH - Tyler James Russell, age 17, of Black Earth, left us all too soon on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022. He was an amazing young man loved by many. 

Tyler was born on June 22, 2005, in Prairie du Sac, the son of James and Kimberly (De Smet) Russell. He was a senior at Wisconsin Heights High School. 

Wanda Elizabeth Amyx, 90, of Hager City, died Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Preferred Senior Living of Ellsworth.  She was born on September 20, 1931, in Eau Galle, Wisconsin to Harvey and Veatruce (Jacobson) Staehli.  She graduated from Maiden Rock High School in 1949 and from UW Stout in Menomonie with a teaching degree in 1953.  For many years
