John Earl Hughes, age 70 of Prairie Du Sac, WI, passed away on Sunday March 21, 2021. He was born in Virginia on July 3, 1950 to parents William and Ethel (Kopplin) Hughes.

On March 17, 2021, Dale Lundgren, loving husband and father of three passed away at the age of 64 after a long struggle with ALS.  Dale was born to Howard & Lois Lundgren in Wisconsin and grew up on his family’s dairy farm.

Robert “Bob” D. Laird, age 74, of Spring Green reunited with his beloved wife on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 following a long illness.

James “Jim” Louis Johanning, age 89, passed away Mar. 19, 2021 at Carlyle Senior Care Center in Fountain Inn, S.C.   Jim was born Dec. 31, 1931 in Highland, WI., the youngest of 14 children to the late Albert and Angela (Hegben) Johanning.  He attended and graduated from Highland High School and later proudly served in the U.S.

MOUNT HOREB – James “Jim” Wirts, age 62, of Mount Horeb, passed away on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, in Mount Horeb. He was born on Feb. 10, 1959, in Dodgeville, the son of James and Donna (Swenson) Wirts. He married Luann Eggimann on July 19, 2020.

Sauk-Prairie - Lorraine (Schiffman) Esser

Passed away on March 5, 2021

Her last days were spent in care at Agrace Hospice Care.

Lorraine was born on October 7th, 1919 in Delton, Wisconsin to William & Mrytle Weidling.

She married the love of her life Fancis Esser on April 11th, 1979 in Fairborn, Ohio.

Mary E. Johns, age 75, of Mazomanie, died Thursday, Jan.14, 2021, at her home. She was born June 1, 1945, in Monroe, the daughter of Albert and Violet (Jacobsen) Johns. Mary grew up in Gratiot, graduating in 1963 from Gratiot High School. Following high school, Mary attended and graduated from UW-Platteville with a degree in Education.

Juanita J. Niles, age 75, passed away unexpectedly at Sauk Prairie Healthcare Hospital on Mar. 9, 2021.  She was born Nov.

Dwayne M. Schneller, age 88, passed away March 4, 2021 at the Pines Assisted Living, Prairie du Sac. He was born on October 17, 1932 the son of the late Myron and Florence (Anderson) Schneller. Dwayne attended the Harrisburg grade school.

In Loving Memory of David Charles Holl (September 20, 1962- March 10, 2021)

David, 58, passed peacefully hand in hand with his wife and mother on March 10, 2021 in Hindsdale, IL after a tragic struggle due to post-surgical complications.
