Heights’ Vosburg receives all-conference honors

Jon Vosburg was all of that — and more — for Wisconsin Heights’ boys basketball team this season. And the Vanguards’ senior guard was rewarded with honorable-mention all-conference honors.

Sauk Prairie track teams off, running

Sauk Prairie’s track teams competed at the Nelson/Daniels Classic held at UW-Whitewater last Friday.

Here’s a recap of the Eagles’ top finishes:

• John Fabian was third in the long jump and sixth in the triple jump.  Otis Andres was also 20th in the triple jump.

Teela named all-conference

Wisconsin Heights’ girls basketball team didn’t have the success it hoped for this year.

The Vanguards did land one player on the all-Capitol South team, though, as senior guard Mikayla Teela was named honorable-mention all-conference.

Three Eagles’ wrestlers earn all-conference recognition

Sauk Prairie had three wrestlers earn all-Badger Small Conference honors.

Austin Lankey, a 165-pounder, Lane Albers (190) and Logan McIntyre (215) all received second-team all-conference recognition.

Lankey finished in fifth place at the Badger Conference meet.

Sauk Prairie gymnasts named all-conference

Sauk Prairie’s girls gymnastics team had one of the finest seasons in school history.

And the Eagles were justly rewarded, receiving several postseason awards.

Harrington, Banta named all-conference

Sauk Prairie’s co-op hockey team had a terrific season, going 15-9 overall and finishing in third place in the ultra-competitive Badger Small Conference.

Two Eagles were then named to the all-conference team.

Three Eagles named all-conference

Sauk Prairie’s boys basketball team landed three players on the all-Badger Small Conference team.

Senior guard Tristan Kerska was named second-team all-league, while junior guard Nic Keyser and senior forward Ben Henderson were named honorable-mention all-conference.
